3 Penguins Limited was founded in 2007 as a design and screen printing firm owned and operated by our family that, at the time, consisted of Sarah, Tom, and our son Alexander. We had recently been told that, unless we chose to adopt, it was going to be just the 3 of us and we took this as a sign that it was time to move forward with our dream of operating our own family business doing something we all loved! Since it was going to be just the 3 of us and we all love penguins, we chose 3 Penguins as our corporate identity. We talked to our accountant, lawyer, and bank and set the wheels in motion...just 3 months later we received the good news that 3 Penguins was officially "born" as all necessary requirements and paperwork were complete. Speaking of born...on that very same day, we learned of another upcoming birth, and 9 months later welcomed our second son Andrew to the team! We did not change our company name to reflect this addition and continued to be blessed with tremendous growth and feel so grateful to so many who helped us get off the ground with repeat business, referrals, and word of mouth that continues to this day! We heard many comments on the name now that there were 4 of us and many folks joked that we needed to add another child to make 3 Penguins accurate once again! As Andrew was termed a "miracle" by not just our family but several doctors who were amazed since they were also the ones who had told us (after 7 years of trying) that we were finished having children. Life is full of miracles though and in 2015 we welcomed our third son Adam into our lives and hearts and 3 Penguins Limited is accurate again...for the next generation!
We have added new capabilities and services, upgraded equipment (always purchasing American made whenever possible), now provide e-commerce solutions and more. We have sent print work to customers in 7 countries, handled order fulfillment for local, national, and international organizations and continue to grow thanks to the support of our amazing clients. Those clients range from folks looking for a few shirts for a family reunion to wedding parties to churches, schools, clubs, teams, corporate wear, and fund raising efforts to name just a few. We have had our designs win competitions and our work has been featured in magazines and on television and we love what we do!
We can handle all types of textile printing and decoration like embroidery and gemming and offer fresh ideas like our twisted pens, Power Bottles® and hundreds of advertising specialty items to complete your branding, recognition, or other initiatives and we focus on American made offerings wherever possible.  Woman owned and operated, all design, screen printing, and heat press work is handled in-house allowing us to control quality and keep costs more competitive than shops that contract these services to others. We thank you for visiting and look forward to the opportunity to surprise and delight you with our quality and service!
